Rosslare Strand is a golden sandy beach in south County Wexford, Ireland.
The beach is located next to Rosslare village and it runs up along almost the whole length of the Rosslare peninsula. Timber and stone breakwaters split the coastline into segments and protect the sand from erosion. These breakwaters give the beach a unique visual identity.
Being close to the village means that shops, cafes, restaurants and hotels are all within a short distance. This beach continues up until it becomes the The Point Beach Rosslare and the Rosslare Back Strand. The location is on the Rosslare peninsula which marks the southern edge of Wexford Harbour.
Parking: A beach car park fits ~40 cars.
Nearest town: Wexford, 23km away.
