St Michael’s Theatre is a theatre and community arts centre in New Ross County Wexford.
The theatre may be a good filming location for scenes that need a medium sized theatre that has a useable exterior and interior. The theatre has an attractive early 19th century facade that gives the building a dignified personality. Inside, the theatre has a suprisingly large auditiorium which includes a mezzanine.
The location was first built in 1810 as a church and was converted to a theatre in the 1960s. Refurbishments to the auditorium were completed in 1999.
The location has a relatively large foyer, two dressing rooms, a green room, and it also has a cafe on the first floor. The auditorium has a lighting/sound booth that is located above the mezzanine. The auditorium also has a small orchestral pit.

The auditorium seats 300. The stage has an orchestral pit that fits up to 12 musicians.
Dimensions: Stage, 8m x 6m. Proscenium arch is 4m high.
Parking: public car park at rear of building that fits ~20 cars.
