Passage East Ferry

Features

The Passage East Ferry is a ferry service that crosses the River Suir in south west County Wexford, Ireland.

The ferry may be an ideal filming location for car ferry scenes or for coastal scenes that need an extra visual impact. The River Suir is particular wide and impressive and it is bordered by dramatic hills on both sides. The ferry travels between Ballyhack, Wexford, and Passage East, Waterford. These two coastal villages are visually appealing and full of character. The car ferry takes vehicles up to minibus size, as well as pedestrians and cyclists. Ideally for filming, the ferry leaves every 15 minutes from each side of the river.
