New Voices 2022 Award Winners Screening
Screen Wexford and Wexford County Council would like to invite you to the New Voices 2022 Award Winners Screening Night. Congratulations to all three bursary winners – Leah O’Toole, Andrew Kenny and Joseph Orr. The event will take place on Wednesday, 29th November at 7pm and will be hosted by our friends at Wexford Arts Centre.
Producing From Beyond The Pale 2 & WSWA Masterclass Series
Producing from Beyond The Pale 2 is a panel discussion outlining the opportunities and obstacles invovled with filmmaking outside of urban centres. The panel will be preceded by a screenwriting masterclasses and case studies aimed at emerging writers. These masterclasses will break down how different departments engage with a script.

ARCHIVE EDITING MASTERCLASS WITH MICK MAHON
Remixing the archive is back this year following on from our first successful edition in 2021. This workshop is a wonderful opportunity for ambitious early stage career filmmakers and artists working with the moving image to engage imaginatively with the enormous untapped potential of archive film, and to learn to integrate it into their films. 10 aspiring / early stage filmmakers will work with remarkable footage from celebrated Irish and UK film archives from the BBC, the Irish Film Institute (IFI), Northern Ireland Screen, the British Film Institute (BFI) and local archive through the Make Film History project. Participants will respond by making a short 1-3 minute self-reflexive film in response.
