More Info

Through a combination of theory and practice, participants will learn how to maximise creativity and production values while working within the constraints of limited resources. This course aims to equip participants with the skills and mindset necessary to make their mark on the short film world and empower them to create visually compelling scenes without breaking the bank.

Participants should be at a point in their career where they have DoP’d on a funded short or are on the precipice of doing so.

For more information, and to apply, see the National Academies page on the course.

The National Talent Academies is inviting expressions of interest for a potential Wexford-based cinematography course. The two day course would be hosted by Film & TV Crew Academy East and would be given by cinematographer Alba Fernandez. The ideal participant would be a cinematographer who has had some experience in short films, and who has either shot, or who will soon shoot, a funded short film.

For More Information

Please see the National Academies Website for more information about the potential course, and to find out how to express your interest.

The deadline for expressions of interest is the 25th of March.
