The programme is designed not only to support filmmakers but also to create meaningful opportunities nationally for venues interested in engaging with the screen sector.
Venues include:
- * Arts centres
- * Theatres
- * Rehearsal studios
- * Community arts spaces
- * Cultural hubs
- * Multi-disciplinary creative venues
- * And all creative spaces suitable for rehearsal activity
Participating venues will:
- * Support emerging screen talent
- * Champion inclusive and accessible filmmaking practices
- * Connect with filmmakers and producers
- * Gain visibility as a partner in a national screen initiative
Selected venues will host approximately three days of rehearsal activity during the pilot period, with scheduling agreed in partnership with NTA.
NTA Film & TV will manage the production selection, scheduling, insurance and marketing, and will cover an agreed percentage (up to 100%) of venue hire costs.
